Synopsis : 

Dive with Nicolas into the heart of Nepal’s lush forests to meet the Bagedada community, one of the country’s 22,000 forest communities, who have contributed to its massive reforestation since the 1990s.

To better understand the success of this solution, Nicolas uses his paraglider to fly over Nepal’s forests and invite local leaders to share their experiences with him. On the ground, sharing the day-to-day life of local people, he discovers how they use their ancestral knowledge to manage their forests, while resorting to new technologies and other low-tech solutions.

Back in France, in the mountains of Briançonnais, he wonders how the Nepalese model could inspire us to manage our forests more sustainably, and, perhaps, create the first French forest community?

Between aerial adventures and inspiring encounters, this destination gives ecology a new dimension, imbued with positivity and discovery, and invites us to rethink our relationship with the environment.
